NOTES: There are times when this video is great, and then there are times when this
video is not so great. Let me preface by saying I ended up being seated next to an usher in the front mezzanine. Up until "Pacience y Fe" coverups occur kind of often, but they aren't terrible. Most notably there is one during the beginning of "Benny's Dispatch", "It Won't Be Long Now" and the last half of "96,000." Act two only has blackouts during clapping sometimes. I ended up propping the camera
up on my knee so the video gets really steady. I'm surprised the usher didn't notice, but I really wanted to make sure Shaun's performance was filmed. Shaun was fantastic and really stepped up Usnavi, as no one else in the role has. The audience was a typical school group packed Wednesday matinee. You can hear some talking from people at the times, and the people in front of me got up and came back 4 times, so you see them walk by.
Full audio, with probably a total of seven minutes of coverups, which occur mostly in act one.

External audio from MD fed into video, so audio is very clear. Also, there are some scenes that are very dimly lit so they were a little difficult to see, but video is edited to increase the contrast a bit. [1 disc]

The cast was on fire and there was a lot of energy in the audience as it was the first performance on Broadway. There are some changes from the DC run, which work better.
